How can I find this baseball (for training pitchers)? It has several various colored patterns on the ball.?
There's this cool baseball for pitchers to learn various throws, such as knuckle, curve, etc throws. This ball has different colored markings that shows you where to place your fingers (for that particular type of pitch.) Please help! Anyhow know what it's called and where I could find one for my son? Thank you very much. Little League Mom
just look online on how to do the pitches and draw the fingers on the ball.
If he is in little league he shouldn't be doing anything but fastballs and changeups because curve balls on a non developed are can hurt the elbow bad plus if the ball does not curve which a beginner will not be able to do then it is a slow hanging pitch which an average batter can easily hit.
Stick to the 2 and 4 seam fastball. the 2 will move a little if thrown hard enough. the 4 will stay straight and a changeup for him would be done by either looking up how to throw a circle change which requires big hands which he probably doesn't have yet or gripping the ball deeper in the hand.
