Goalkeeper Mask
Are any rules against goalies wearing the vintage masks during game play?
I looked around a little and found nothing against wearing these:

Just curious,
I am a left winger, and shoot right handed. I do not play goalkeeper. I am sure amateur play may have rules against these. Then again, maybe not...

Form-fitting masks are specifically forbidden by USA hockey under rule 303(e)
It is compulsory for all goalkeepers to wear helmets and full
facemasks. Hanging throat/neck laceration protectors are
recommended. No form fitted facemasks shall be permitted.

They were banned in kid's leagues in the 80's and in adult leagues in 2005.
NHL goaltenders must wear NHL -approved masks per section 3 rule 11 of the NHL rulebook
11.8 Masks – Protective masks of a design approved by the League must be worn by goalkeepers. Protective masks deemed to be worn only to increase stopping area will be considered illegal.
In Canada they were banned in 1977 for minor hockey;
The fiberglass masks offered inadequate eye protection and it was simply good fortune that no NHL goalie suffered an eye injury while wearing one, until (Gerry)Desjardin was hurt in 1977, ending his career. Canada banned fiberglass masks in youth hockey, undermining the economics of the industry. NHL goalies switched to the helmet-and-cage style popular in Europe.
