Should I cover my red lentil daal while it simmers?
I am making a red lentil daal. The recipe says to let it simmer for twenty-five minutes, but it doesn't say whether or not to cover it. What do you think I should do?
red lentils if covered while cooking tend to boil over,a drop or two of oil before you start controls this to an extent,the best way is to allow it to start boiling in a open vessel,when it does boil,lower the flame enough for a slow simmer & partailly cover the lid,leaving a little open gap,this way it cooks faster & does not boil over.

Changing your Color Scheme With Slip Covers
Slip covers give you the opportunity to change the color of your décor any time you want to do so. Your house can be all one color one day, and you can have a living room filled with colors the next. You can use attractive covers to make the difference.
Start with sofa slipcovers that explode with color. They can be light or bright. Whatever seems like spring to you will do. Some people like pastels for spring. This goes back to the Easter dresses you might have worn or seen, and the Easter eggs you may have dyed. Think of this when you purchase your slip covers.
