Soccer What are good soccer drills for a goalie and a midfielder?
We are two U-15 soccer players trying to get better over the summer for high school. We can go to the soccer fields any day. We are trying to work together in these drills. What are some that we can do together to become better? Thanks.
The midfielder could practice taking shoots on the goalie then for the goalie (G) to practice punting the ball down the field and have the midfielder (M) try to control it and send it back to the G from distance. For the M you could practice break aways on the G and the goalie could practice defending you. You guys can make up stuff as you go along. The M can take PKs on the G, the M could practice taking corner kicks and the G could just come out and either punch it out or catch it. Plus you guys can watch pro soccer games. Tomorrow Manchester United play Barcolona at 2:29 you can see what a Midfielder or Goalie should do. But being in shape and not slacking off on the field and at practice can help you alot also.
